Tasted at the brewpub on 7/9/2009. This amber pours a medium amber red color. The aroma is caramel and fruity and sweet. A medium bodied amber. The malts are caramel and sweet. The hops are earthy and floral. Nice balance. Decent carbonation. A slightly sweeter than average amber. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet.

I have to say up front that Reds aren't one of my favorites to begin with. This one was probably better than many others I've had though. The pour was a see through red color with a decent head. The aroma was malty with a very faint hop presence. The taste followed suit, with a pleasant malt flavor that dominated. This beer is one dimensional and boring--but not bad.
