http://www.baxterbrewing.com/beers/5/ Brilliant clarity, bright golden in color. Pamola Pours with a nice creamy head and subtle malt and hop aroma. Crisp, clean, effervescent start with a touch of malt character and a balanced bitterness. Hop flavors linger nicely. Finishes clean, crisp and dry with a light body. Pamola is brewed with pure, soft Maine water from Lake Auburn; three different hop varieties, plus domestic and imported “Character” malts provide complexity, color and body while making use of a clean, well attenuating, top-fermenting American ale yeast. The beer is then cold conditioned for a smooth, clean and crisp flavor. This one is extremely drinkable! WORDS OF PRAISE “Enjoying Maine’s Baxter Xtra Pale Ale. Nice stuff. Not a fruity or hop citrus essay. Right now Make Mine a Baxter.” – Charlie Papazian

Smooth, clean feel is my favorite part about this beer. Coming from hot weather in FL, to semi-hot in RI, this is a really good spring/summer brew. Good balance....light malt with a medium hop finish. Light citrus and pine in there. Could be trying these beers again if I make it next summer, so an adjustment may be in the future.

Faint floral nose with a hint of citrus. Clear pale gold body is topped with a rocky wite head that is long-lasting and great lace. A light body with good fizz and slightly slick. Solid malt is bread yeast is fruity and hops are minimal and battering. Slightly buttery as it warms. Not a hop heads cup of tea but a true Pale Ale, very sessionable.
