On tap at Quinn's Ale House. Pours a huge frothy and creamy tan head and has a deep dark amber brownish coloured appearance. Thick dirty lacing. Aromas of roasted malts, herbal and resin notes and subtle chocolate hints. Flavours are sweet, subtle bitterness, roasted malt, some herbal and grassy notes. Nice slick and drying mouthfeel. Good stuff.

Sampled at Brother's Beer Bistro. Pours a dark brown colour with a beige-mocha coloured creamy head, good retention and creamy full lace. Aromas of chocolate malts, berries, roasted malts and coffee. The mouthfeel is nicely dry, but still refreshing. Interesting black IPA that I am surprised coming from Ashton. A step up from their game, as I like this brewery, but usually plays a safe bet. This is wild for them :P
