Clear yellow with lasting big snow white foam head, lacing. Aroma is citrus, with some floral. Bjit weak taste, a Weissen. Short aftertaste, not a bad beer on a warmer spring day. (Velp 201304)

Maybe it's because I NEEDED this pleasure so much, I don't know..but this is a near perfect hefe to me. It's as perfect as i want. It was very cold, as my fridge (the terrace) turned off pretty coldish as the snow whirls. But it poured beautifully..magnificent head.. uhhuh.. like meringue with tons of lacing still lingering.. three, four, five gulps in succession, its just sooo drinkable. popping with fruit, especially good banana, and some citrus tingle with a hint of spice. What a day! Nobody knows but me..and my andechs. yOu gotta try this. I promise.

500 ml capped bottle. Poured a cloudy golden-orange coloured Weissbier with a pillowy two fingers white creamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is wheat malts, huge cloves, fruity, bananas, oranges, lemon. The flavour is wheat grainy malts, bread, yeast, spicy, cloves, coriander, fruity, bananas, lemon. The mouthfeel is creamy and a present aciditic touch, oranges. This medium bodied Weissbier has a long dry and fruity finsih. A very well builded Weissbier.

This Weissbier sampled vom Faß at the Kloster Andechs Bräustüberl. A cloudy bold lemon-yellow with a moderately foamy white head with good lacing. Strong fresh aromas of yeast, cloves, bananas and lemon. Bold tart palate albeit a bit thin. Tart flavors of citrus and spice throughout. Very tasty and refreshing.

Hazy golden colour with big slightly off-white foamy/bubbly head. Aroma is Big time bananas, wheat and some quite sourish notes. Flavour is wheat, a lot of sourish fruits, some yeast and mild touch of banana.

Nice typical pour, perfectly crowned head, sat just beautifully in the weizen glass. Pale yellow to yellow pour and cloudy. The aroma was citrus, wheat, and spices. As it warmed, the flavor added to a basic citrus and lightly clovey elements a stronger spicing, including not only cloves but also peppers. Finish was a little dry and with a lightly acidic mouthfeel. The banana-like esters were minor players in this one and it was rather refreshing (slightly sour) for a summer evening at the grill.

Bottle. Cloudy, orange gold coloured, with minimal tight head and some lacing. Aroma is spicy and banana fruity. Some cloves in the taste along with bubblegum, light malts and hops. Highly carbonated, smooth and full bodied. Bitter sour finish and aftertaste. Good one.

Lovely cloves aroma, typical hefe. Cloudy golden colour, pours with a large head. Fairly dry flavour, typical wheat/cloves, slightly peppery. A bit more hops would do, still this is a well made hefe.
