My friend, who I haven't seen in a long time but knows I love new beers, brought a growler of this back from the brewery (talk about a beer-pal!). Delicious offering from a brewery that I've never heard of. Thick, full, mouthfeel. Super dark, pitch black body with a thick foamy head. The malt body balances out the hoppiness of the IPA fantastically. Hints of chocolate in the flavor and in the nose. This is a damn good beer. I can't wait to try the others that he brought.
