Sampled at the brewpub on 2/27/2012. This amber ale pours a medium amber reddish color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel, slightly sweet and malty. A medium bodied amber ale. The malts are caramel, fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy and floral. Good carbonation. Touch of orange. Some malt sweetness at the finish. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

The more I drink Alcatraz, the more I think they don't give a rat's ass about beer. They are all boring, light and cheap. I want my 2 dollars.
