I tried this beer on July 28, 2009 after purchasing from the Union Station LCBO outlet in Toronto. As mentioned by Mike T and Chopz, the can says 4.6%. The beer poured a translucent gold, with a thin white foamy head which lasted, and was highly effervescent. The aroma was primarily grainy malt, with some freshly baked bread. and a hint of hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was very grainy. A typical pale lager.

It poured a very pale translucent yellow colour with absolutely no head. The aroma was tart fermented apples. The mouthfeel was light-bodied, almo0st water with medium carbonation. The flavour was tart apples and not much else.

The cider pours a very pale translucent gold with absolutely no head. The aroma is tart apples - and not much else. The mouthfeel is very thin and watery. The flavour is missing - there is a hint of tart old apples in a mouthful of water - but just a hint.

The beer poured a translucent golden brown with red highlights, and a 1" thick foamy white head. Effervescence is apparent. The aroma is slightly sweet, there is a hint of oak, nutty malt, but no signs of whiskey. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, with medium carbonation. The flavour unfortunately has a sour finish to it and has a hint of whiskey. The malt and oak are definitely evident as well. The beer looks great, but the taste doesn't match up in my opinion.

The beer poured a solid brown colour with a tan coloured head that laced. The aroma was sweet malt with a nut presence and some hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was sweet malt, dark fruit, and a hint of a bitter finish. A good beer - but not great.

The beer poured a relatively clear golden orange with a small amount of haze and a whole lot of effervescence. The aroma was sour apples, some earth and must. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied and highly carbonated. The taste was both sour and bitter, and a great experience for the tongue.
