The beer poured a translucent golden colour with reddish hues, and a thin rocky head that lasted a while. The aroma was biscuity malt with ample hoppage. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was primarily hoppy with some grass in the mix, and some pleasant spiciness. A very good beer. -

The beer pours a translucent darker gold colour with almost no head. The aroma is grainy malt and a little hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied and medium carbonation. The flavour was very malty with a hint of hops, and an ill-tasting aftertaste. -

I tried this beer on September 2, 2009 at "Smokeless Joe's" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a hazy golden brown with a thin white head that lasted. The aroma is musty bread and wood chips. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with light carbonation. The taste was SOUR! Moreso than the Petrus Oud Bruin in my opinion. Very yeasty in the taste. -

I tried this beer on September 2, 2009 at "Smokeless Joe's" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The bottle looked and felt more like a 250ml bottle than a 330ml bottle. The beer poured a hazy golden pink colour with a fizzy short-lived head. The aroma was very fruity with mango very apparent. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied, with medium-high carbonation. The flavour was sweet in a fruity sense (as opposed to the artificial sweetness in a Wittekerke Rose) with a little malt in the taste.
After reading the plethora of reviews from Canadian based beerpals, one has to wonder if it's available stateside (not that they're missing anything). -

I tried this beer on August 14, 2009 at "Smokeless Joe's" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a translucent dark red with a generous light tan head that lasted a while. The aroma was roasted malt, some cherries, and some nuts. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with mild carbonation. The flavour was malty, with some hints of paper. Not enjoyed.
