The beer pours a translucent darker gold colour with almost no head. The aroma is grainy malt and a little hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied and medium carbonation. The flavour was very malty with a hint of hops, and an ill-tasting aftertaste.

Pours wan straw yellow with a thick but effervescent eggshell head. Aroma delivers yeasty and malty tones, not spectacular but acceptable. Malty flavor is fairly typical, a little fruit and a bit of hops, average but enjoyable. Mouthfeel features so-so body and OK fizz. Well, it’s another rating.

I look at the scores and I didn't think this beer was as bad as others. It certainly outranks Corona in my books. A typical pale lager with a pale golden colour, white foamy cap, aroma of grass and weak hops, and the flavour is very grainy. I did not notice any adjuncts here, just a watered down lager.

This iis yellow colored water that smells like piss. The mouthfeel is very thin with loads of carbonation. The taste is bland but at least it's not hoppy. I won't be trying this one again.

pours a crystal clear, golden-yellow, with a small white head which dissipates quickly, however, and the light coloration accurately predicts a light taste. Lightly skunky in both aroma and taste, this beer is thirst-quenching and easy to down. The light-bodied mouthfeel is amply, but not over, carbonated. The sweetness in the aroma is followed by a largely balanced (sweet-bitter) taste. Excellent choice for hot summer day or a hot day on the beach, very refreshing.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grass, grains, bready malts, some slight notes of maize. Flavour is maize, mild grassy notes, some hay as well as mild honeyish and salty notes as well. Refreshing and nice on a hot summers day.

I used to wear a T-shirt not long ago saying: Save water drink beer. That was advertising for Banks brewery...Finally today i could taste their pale lager...Definitely a below average product, thouh with a bit of malt and character...Coud be good under the sun of the Barbados, but here in Montreal i'm spoiled with a large array of better beers to satisfy my thirst...

It's too bad that I have to type 150 characters because there is nothing to say about this beer that hasn't already been said. It's Badian swill, pure and simple...although the adjuncts keep it simnple, they keep it less pure as well.

This Caribbean lager showed up at the LCBO. Hope it is spicy like their food. Pours a pale golden colour with lots of medium-sized bubbles, a big frothy white head, decent retention and good dirty lacing. The nose is malty at first with some spiciness. Then, it turns into the normal swill aromas that I find disgusting (probably cheap hop... kind of rusty). The taste reminds me of club soda, wet with that mild salty and carbonated gas finish. Some light malt is there the whole way, that is not bad. Refreshing overall (which is what those warm countries want), but not something I seek right now (as it is starting to freeze outside). Ahhh winter !

Pours a clear pale gold with a tiny white head that fades quickly. I smell some maltiness in there, not bad. Definitely smells better than most macros. Flavour is malty with some adjunct in there. Nice hop finish, not too bitter. Medium mouthfeel with medium-low carbonation.
