Named for the translation of the hop plant species “Humulus Lupulus” which got it’s name because it was small but feisty. We think this beer fits that description pretty well. This Pale Ale was brewed with barley, oats, and a fine blend of hops featuring Horizon, Citra and Mosaic.

4oz. sampler at the brewery. Pours a good size frothy white head that dissipates. Has a slightly hazy golden orangey appearance. Sticky lacing. Aromas of floral and citrus hops, some tropical fruit notes. Flavours are quite fruity, mostly of the tropical variety. A little bit of hoppiness. Hoppier in aroma than taste.

Can found in Vermont at $2.29US. Hazy golden colour with small chunks going through it. Small off-white head with not much stay, but nice lacing. Fresh hop smell of grapefruits and other citrus fruits. Fruity malt taste with the grapefruit notes from the refreshing citrusy hops. Some yeast blend things. A pretty nice citrus APA that does its job.
