Wow, first review in over 4 years. It's time for an update: pours from the bottle a straight up translucent amber colour. Small creamy beige head with a nice whip cream like top. Stays creamy till the end. Aroma is very pleasent. Fresh floral notes with a hint of sweet undertones. Taste is very smooth with butterscotch and vanilla notes all the way through. A good buy for sure.

A dark copper to brown color with a large head. It had a malty and musky barnyard aroma. The flavor was caramel and apricots. It was very yeasty as well. Not too bad for an amber ale.

Sampled from bottle. This ale pours a hazy orange-tinted amber and has a thin, but ample, off-white head. Some sediment. The aroma is floral and candy-like. The flavor is sweet, complex malts (caramel, biscuit, chocolate), ripened fruit with black pepper spices. Wonderful. Medium-bodied, moderately carbonated, zesty with little aftertaste. A great American session ale.
