A semi-sweet stout with flavors of chocolate, coffee and sweetness thanks to a hint of milk sugar. A creamy body and modest alcohol make it a thrilling and sessionable dark beer.

12 oz can. Pours dark brown with a medium creamy tan head that quickly goes to a thin film that leaves a little lacing.

The aroma is sweet grainy lactic chocolate with a little roast and vinous fruit.

The flavor is sweet lactic acidic chocolate with some roast. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and a bit watery.

Overall, an OK roasty acidic milk stout.

Had this delicious brew on tap at Wynkoop in Denver. Pours a pitch black, not much going on for froth. Aroma is sweet, milk chocolate, nutty. Taste is creamy, very pleasant with rich but balanced malty notes.
