Conqueror, our third beer, was launched for Autumn 2010. The design is based on the shield of William the Conqueror who founded Windsor Castle in 1075. A black IPA, Conqueror is a rich, complex and very distinctive ale. It is brewed with a careful blend of 5 speciality malts along with Summit and Cascade hops to produce an intense combination of roasted flavours balanced with full fresh pine hop aroma.

Cask@The Draft House, nr. Tower Bridge, London. Quite much black colour, not much head. Aroma is fruits, liquorice, mild spicyness as well. Flavour is fruity, leathery, wooden and slightly resiny as well.

Cask (hand pump) at the Bree Louise, London. Very dark reddish brown colour, nearly black. Low creamy tan head. Nice aroma of fruity New World hops. Lovely hoppy flavour with fruity and piney notes, on a background of moderately roasted malts, with notes of chocolate and mild coffee.
