A bright golden colored beer with a big sudsy textured off white head that rises briefly above. It settles into a thin ringlet. The nose us light malty sweetness and grassy hops. Add to that profile a very subtle citrus. Medium bodied and refreshing.

500 ml capped bottle. Poured a slight hazy amber-orange coloured IPA with a generous one finger slight beige pillowy creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Active carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is moderate floral hops, aciditic fruits, citrus and notes of honey. The flavour is grainy malts, honey, fresh hops. The mouthfeel is crispy and smooth. This light to medium bodied ale has a long bitter hoppy finish. A pleasant IPA, in the soft way.

Last of the new arrivals from Williams Brothers @ Bearden Beer Market and the best: lightly hazy golden yellow pour with a short-lived white head which quickly reduces to a constant white cap and ring. Sporadic lines of lacing throughout. Lightly floral and nicely citrus hops aroma with a bit of honeysuckle and malt sweetness. Taste is clean with the citrus and slight floral hops bitter lingering lightly and nicely balanced with a very light caramel malt sweetness. This IPA is very tasty and refreshing and not overly bitter like most American IPAs; very very sessionable although the ABV might be a bit high for that. Could drink this all of the time. Great label, very good beer. If you find it buy it and try it.

500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger, as Joker IPA, green label. ABV is 5%. Golden colour, big white head. Nice aroma of fruity hops, citrussy and grassy notes, hints of mild spices and herbs. The flavour is fruity with an initial sweetness and noticeable hops throughout, moderate bitterness in the finish and aftertaste. Not quite what Americans would think of as an IPA, but a fairly well hopped premium bitter / golden ale all the same. Nice one. Would buy again.
