Hopheads and dark beer lovers alike, this ale is for you. This 9.5% abv beast of a beer is black as night and dry hopped like a double IPA. Although dark and full-bodied, this beer lacks the astringent bitterness you would find in a roasty stout leaving you with a delightfully rounded-out ale.

Pours coffee sable with a thick, persistent tan head. Aroma presents strong, woody hop notes accompanied by roast malt and subtle citrus tones. Bold flavor delivers woody and slightly evergreen hops, roast malt, chocolate, hay and molasses plus coffee and earthy hints. Un-earthly! Firm mouthfeel has some good fizz, and leaves a nice roast malt and hoppy finish. A world class beer that every stoutie and IPA fan should seek.
