A full rich bodied, hoppy, seasonal lager. Especially brewed for the Festbier season. This beer truly represents the Bavarian way of celebrating. Deep gold color, great mouthfeel and lots of flavor. Prost!

Pours a golden color with little white head that fades quickly. The aroma is fairly typical for the style. The taste is light hops but otherwise typical for the style. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, highly refreshing and excellent carbonation.

Pours clear solar yellow with a thick and fairly persistent eggshell head. Aroma delivers zesty fresh malt riding fruity and hoppy tones. Flavor not only ramps up the aroma’s offerings, it also tosses in more than a snip of honey. Mouthfeel features typical body and fizz, but this is still an enjoyable brew. Glückliches Oktoberfest!

Not a bad beer, but I wouldn't call it an Oktoberfest. At least not based on its appearance. Pours like a pilsner with a frothy head. Mine was clear gold. I have read that others experienced a chill haze but I don't see it. It smells a little skunky. Maybe some grain. Mouthfeel is thicker than expected. Smooth too. Taste is pretty good. Wet hay. Musty. Fermented grain and a few hops. Sweet, almost cloying. I couldn't have too many of these. Finish is sticky and a little skunky. Overall. Not bad.

The aroma and appearance weigh this down somewhat, as the flavor and feel of this beer is better than the looks. A light version of a marzen/Oktoberfest, so less malt gives a clearer feel. Felt a little more like a clearish wheat to me. Pale yellow semi-cloudy appearance with maybe a hint of orange in there. Flavor is light wheat and light malt, with slight hop finish. Quite good actually, and well worth the $1 on clearance. I probably wouldn't pay the full $3-$4 or whatever.

A quick fix if you're in the seasonal mood in Germany in the fall. A cloudy golden beer with a huge off-white head. Aroma contains light fruit, sweet malt, and yeast. Flavour is sweet and earthy. Easily drinkable, but far from outstanding

can’t agree with the low scores on this one. appearance is lighter than your typical purty okto lager, but the aroma and flavor are malty up front, well balanced, with a nice feel and it’s full flavored. not the best, but WAY above average.

A pretty good marzen but a bit of a disappointment compared to most from Weihenstephan. Aroma has more of the rich vinous malt flavor important to the style than the flavor. Not bad but not particularly good compared to better version, like Ayinger.

Pored into .5l hefe glass. Small white head that dissipates. Nice aroma- malt a little citrus. Light for a Marzen/Oktoberfest in color and taste. Creamy mouth feel. Expected a little more. Still a good beer for a afternoon. A little more 10/30/10. Upped my rating. The hazy gold is more attractive.

Not exactly a true Oktoberfest, but the closest on this side of the pond. Depends on the batch I think...Current has protein haze, strong head, very nice body. If you know the intention, its very, very nice. Tin tongue ale drinkers will find it bland. Strong sunlight, flesh on the grill after a hard days work, damn nice. From the Bayern brew university, quite right.

Not at all what I would have expected from this type of beer. It was weak, not alcohol, but taste and every other aspect. Severly lacking in every respect. Wanted it to be much better than it was.
