A deep amber colour with a tan hued foam. Aromatic notes of grains, caramel, toasted bread, citrus and malty sweetness. A full-bodied richly flavoured beer with punchy notes of roasted grains and caramel. Full and focused with slight bitterness and a long lingering finish. Only four ingredients used; yeast, malted grain (barley), hops (Centennial and Citra hops), and pure water, naturally limestone-filtered through the UNESCO-protected Niagara Escarpment watershed.

The beer pours a hazy dark copper colour with a generous tan head and highly effervescent. There was a lot of lacing. The aroma was biscuit malt, caramel, yeast, and musty hops. The mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied and average carbonation. The flavour is dark caramel, grains, and the finish is only slightly bitter.
