473ml can: puts a dark gold clear lager in the glass. 3finger puffy cap laces the glass. Aroma us burly with malt tones and some sweetness a little musty. Thin bodied for a heller bock. Flavor resembles an Okocim strong lager – robust malts- almost sweet ample hop balance for a bock…finish turns a bit bitter and dry. Not a bad effort but a far cry from a German Heller Bock.

Part of the Waterloo 2013 Spring pack at the LCBO. Pours a golden colour with a big white creamy head, that stays quite long and hands out dirty lace. Big grainy cereal malt aromas. Eventually, the rusty hop comes out with notes of fruits. The taste is pretty mild though. Watery malt with just a touch of hop. Not much bitterness though. Not much in the flavour department. Thankfully, the head is still there in the end, and the smell is pretty good overall. Goes down smoothly.
