Tawny golden, full-bodied, robust, strong lager, witha cream, hop flavour. Much more similiar to a Dortmunder Export lager than to the dark , Franconian Vollbier it is named after.

330 ml can, bought in Spain. ABV is 7.2%. Golden colour, large white head. Decent floral aroma, hints of malts and some fruit. Low carbonation in the mouth. The flavour is sweet, malty and alcoholic, hints of honey, some bitterness in the finish. Too sweet for me, really, but not undrinkable. I drank it at cellar temperature, possibly slightly better if colder.

Dry version of estelle damm. Pours thin, dark and very flat. Mouthfeel is thin. Taste like estelle damm with more malt and some bread notes. Man this is dry. Would not call this a marzen/Oktoberfest as it lacks any marzen taste. Very poor for the style.

This brew has a light creamy mouthfeel. Pours a clear amber body with a large fluffy white head. Aromas of almonds and dates, flavours of red licorice and bannanas.

Deep golden colour, big white head. Alcohol, bread, malts and some bitterish hops in aroma. Flavour is sweet malts and hops with hints of raisins and barley. Not much alcohol the flavour, but enough to balance the beer up. Very mouthdrying.

Bottle at Casa Pepe, Mijas, Spain. Amber coloured with a nice beige head. Malty aroma. Sweet and caramel taste with noticable alcohol and a bitter finish. Good mouthfeel. A very good beer for Spain.
