Pours a huge foamy off white head and ends up a thin layer with good lacing. Has an amber, coppery appearance. Aromas of grainy malts, nutty and light earthy hops. Flavours of light roasted malts, breads, grains, hints of sweetness like caramel. Fruity flavours too, sorta like apples and a little bit of a corn backdrop, mostly in the finish. Slight bitter mouthfeel, somewhat watery. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Not too bad for a lighter abv amber ale, and very much affordable.

Solid copper, white cap with a ring afterwards. The aroma is caramelly, sweet, light fake cherry?, light spice and faint bread. First thing that hits on the taste is a watery spice followed by light caramel, rye bread and a nice hop taste with mild bitterness. Nice smooth carbonation, light bitterness and a bit of bread on the finish.

Brownish red body with a thick bubble ring, beer looks acceptable. Aroma is crisp and contains more hops then I was expecting but with the nice hops comes a moldy bread. Malty sweet taste with melon hops, caramel in the finish with hints of a darker flavor. The taste reminds me of Big Rock Trad. Crisp clean and drinkable.

Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is big hops and some grassy malts. Flavour is sweet wood along with malts, grass and caramel. A weird brew, but still drinkable.

Poured a tawny colour,no head looks a bit boring.Mild hops aroma, refreshing but too light malt and hops flavor for my taste. An O.K beer but no much more, lack the drive to really like that one...

This must be the big brother of "U". poured a copper-amber in my pilsner flute. Lighter carbonation...small bubbles..natural. Small off white head goes to a ring quickly. Nose is substantially caramel malts and fresh saaz hops. Mouth feel is silky, toasty caramel malts balance well with the saaz flavor. Moderate finish with slight toasted grain decernment....a pretty good rendition of a pilsner style with some nice twists...caramel toasty malts give better flavor...more wet finish...infused saaz hops give flavor and bouquet without bittering...a nice departure from the norm in the pilsner style and years ahead of the mega pils.

Bottle – Poured a light amber colored beer with a nice standard head with standard retention. Aroma is sweet with some nice malt easily detectable. Taste is very sweet, light and quite refreshing. This is not your usual Belgian Ale from Unibroue but more of a summer beer to drink on the patio.

Sampled from Unibroue's clear 341ml bottle. Pours an amber colour with a white head that dissipates fast, and has hardly any lace. Aroma is slightly on the vinegar side, but with a mild malt scent. The has a bit of bitterness, but mostly smooth. Crisp mouthfeel and dry aftertaste. Not bad, but this and its brother "U" are among Unibroue lowest quality products. This one is slightly better then the other.
