Pours a foamy eggshell white head and has a dull pale golden appearance. Fairly weak lacing. Aromas are grainy with mild roasted malts. Not really much else. Has malty, bready and toasty flavours. Slightly sweet and mild citrus. Also has a light grainy lingering taste. Just a tad nutty with some honey in the finish. Faint carbonation. Slick mouthfeel. A bit watery with a drying sensation. A good Unibroue mass produced type beer.

Poured out a clear yellow gold brew with a good cream white cap and very minimal lacing. The aroma is grainy, pancakes, a touch metallic early on, bit of sour lemon. It has a clean finish on each sip. Good spicy hops, dry grains, hidden fruit behind the spices. comes across a touch watery on occasion. Finshes a bit dull but that is ok.

I used to think highly of Unibroue....then I had the 'U'. God was it awful. The bottle is clear....make no mistake that this is a SAleeman influence. The aroma and flavour are both very grainy, almost medicinal in the aftertaste. Still...better than a Molson or Labatt's product!

Very bright light gold with a good bubble ring, looks good for what it is I guess. Malty sweet aroma with slight banana and a bitter that has no sent to it. Sweet bready flavor with a nice hoppy bitterness in the finish. The is a slight chemical flavor what I can’t pin down. Nice clean highly drinkable taste but I would go out of my way to drink another that’s for sure.

Poured a clear blonde colour,no head no lacing.Like the U2,this is again boring, lack of substance, too light on malt and hops, boring to say the least,Unibroue has definitely no skilled to brew this style of beers, they should keep all their energy with their Belgian style...

Poured a golden color with a white head that quickly dimished leaving no lacing. Aroma of lemon citrus, sweet corn, malt, and a touch of skunk. Taste of sweet corn, lemons, stale cardboard, with no hop presence. I would like to thank my buddy for graciously bringing back beers that I wouldn’t have gotten a chance to sample myself, without me even asking.

Bottled: Impressive clear Sleeman-like package. In my pilsner flute this appeared as a pale straw lager with a lot of sprtizy carbonation and a smallish cap that goes quickly to a ring...some lace. Aroma was more encouraging; a nice saaz pilsner bouquet fills the nose and the room, some citrus, some grass and sweet boiled grains. Sprtizy mouth feel, reveals a light bodied, sweet malt pilsner with little bittering but well rounded hop-malt balance. Tastey, lemony light bready finish. A step above the mega pilsners in Canada.

Not much to this one and the Unibroue name took a hit on this one (despite the fact that a vendor paid for this). I'll stick to U's Belgian beers in the future. Very grassy base (as I taste in all these pils beers), mediocre head, and very thin (but carbonated) mouthfeel. Flavor matched the very light golden color.

Bottle: Poured a clear blonde brew with a nice huge head. Aroma is quite weak with some small notes of malts. Carbonation is just average for this type of beer. Taste is quite deceiving with some light floral malts and a watery aftertaste. Overall, this is a very light beer similar to some of the macro-produced ones out there but if Unibroue needs the money to produce some of their more robust beers then I have no problem.

This pils-style brew pours a pale yellow colour with a white head, and some medium lacing. A skunk scent is really felt around the room. Might be outdated, no best before dates on the bottle, and bottle is clear. Not offensive though. Very light in taste, Unibroue's chance to get the swill market. This beer seems to compete with Stella Artois. This one and U2 (Unibroue's amber version) gave me both headaches the last few times I have tried them. The best thing about this brew is that I finally have a Unibroue bottle cap for my collection.
