Bottled (from lahoublonnaire.be). Very dark brown colour with minor head. Aroma is raisins, some mild alcohol, spices, yeast, dark berries and licorice. Flavour is caramel malts, dark berries, some slight oak barrel, mild licorice and some slight alcohol. Gets better the warmer it gets. At room temperature very pleasant.

Poured a hazy brown color with a small, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel malts, dark fruits, anise, light cocoa, and the Belgian Unibroue yeast. Taste of caramel malts, with more dark fruits, cocoa, yeast, and light alcohol.

Irresistible? Yes. Brown pour with a huge amount of carbonation. Not much as far as flavors go. Not what I expected, there isn't the roastiness of a brown or the dark fruit and spiciness of a belgian. Kind of stuck somewhere in limbo.

dark colour, the head is initially medium, uniforme, creamy and slightly brown-tainted, aroma of prune, slightly toasted with notes of alcohol, very smooth, lot of carbonation (looks like a big trend by Unibroue), decent bitterness, dry malty finish with reminiscence of prune - good but very resistable

This brown pour is very carbonated, but as herbjones noted, not much in the way of flavor. OK, but could have been done better

341ml bottle from metro jeanette. pours a lovely hazed dark chestneut color with a good cap that laces well.... lively carbonation.... cocoa, grass and sweet cookie dough in the nose. Peppery mouth feel from the carbonation, malt spine detectable, variety of flavors..cocoa, fruits, some mustiness..not actually complex or layered, slightly watery decernment..wet finish with the signature UB yeast fruity after taste. This is a beer that could have had potential but as I suspect UB makes too many styles with the same yeast strain...this dark just does not come off with too many tastes that don’t mix well ...cocoa tastes from dark malts does not seem to mesh with the peachy fruit tones from the yeast, the hops chosen to not compliment the sweet malts...just a brew that didn’t do anything for me. I like the irrisitable blonde which is a superior wit to this failed hybrid brown

Pourred a large dark head that did not disapear too quickly. Very dark colour, almost opaque. The spices reminded me of the other Irrésistible but this one has a thin taste of roastiness. Would probably be better with more roastiness or butterscotch taste. Overall, I was alittle bit disapointed, it seems that we have a blonde golden ale in the body of a dark ale. I not sure where Unibroue is taking us with that one.

This beer was exclusively sold through a chain of stores called Metro, a famous Quebec grocerie chain. It poured a dark brown opaque colour with a thick and creamy head. Retention was medium and the lacing was low. Aromas were of spices and so was the taste, with hints of nuts. Very smooth and dry aftertaste. Not the best Unibroue product, but a descent brew that goes down very easy.

A solid brown color with a mod head. Not a hell of a lot going on with either the aroma or body, kind of bland if you ask me.

This dark brown brew is topped by a thick off white head with a good amount of lacing left on the glass. The aroma is slightly sweet yet sour and flowery with a slight yeastiness. The flavor is also slightly sweet yet sour and fowery with yesty notes. Medium to full bodied and slightly warming.
