This fine pale ale has citrus and tropical fruit aromatic shared with a well-balanced – yet abundant – hop character. It uses our own Belgian yeast, five malts, two hops, and plenty of patience. Finishing touches include dry-hopping with Cascade hops and warm-cellaring.

A good beer but overall pretty average for the style. The aftertaste is a bit offputting, and rather than making me want to drink more it kinda made me not want to drink anything. It was bitter but not in a way that left you thirsty...maybe a bit overdry is all I am saying.

750ml bottle -
A really nice offering that seemed a little out of place being consumed on a cold winter's evening. Weather notwithstanding, this really is a nice beer. A nice mixture of sweet and spicy notes, leafy-grassy-herbal hop aroma melds nicely with some phenolic notes floating around too. Fruity and earthy tasting, like eating a dried pit-fruit. Belgian yeast profile does show up here too. Definitely Belgian in its delivery. -

Hazy gold pour with a bubbly white head. Fruity (lemon, pineapple, orange), bready, grainy aroma and taste with a hint of sour and funk from the belgian yeast. Almost too much carbonation. A good take on the Belgian IPA style.

Here is a summer beer! It pours thick with a giant foam head and it smells of lemon zest and grain. The mouth feel is slick and the taste is of lemon peel, spice, citrus and grain. Crisp and refreshing. A fine beer

Nice beer, interesting aroma, slightly sour, lots of citurs, floral, slightly tropical. Lightly bitter, better described as dry. Crackers and some lightly toasted oats on the nose. Surprisingly theres not that much to say about this beer. Light bodied, easy drinking, slightly hazy, touch of simple syrup texture perhaps.... nice. remarkably large white foamy head.

From Zyn. Nice inexpensive, at #13.78 for 750ml, but worth it. Vast amounts of foamy white head, and it lasted a LONG time. Body of clear, dark gold. Lots of hops, spices, and yeast to pleasure the nose. Quite citrusy, in fact. Flavour was much like the aroma and every bit as enjoyable.

Another homerun for Ommegang. Delicious cloudy, amber beer, in the Belgian style.Tight, foamy head that will not dissipate. A little hops comes thru. Tasty- I could go on but I would just repeat myself, good beer!

I was leery of this one at first It turned out to be a nice surprise It had a good balance of hops, malt and alcohol so that no one element overpowered any other. It is a good looking brew besides Amber orange with a foamy white head. It was quite enjoyable paired with a variety of cheeses. I think this would do well as a cocktail beer or paired with a wide variety of foods

Pour slow - actually, it doesn't really matter how you pour because you are going to get a big glass of sudsy foam. However, be patient it is worth the wait. Pretty much what everyone else said - and it tastes just like a Duvel.

Be careful when opening it - my sample popped like a champagne bottle and fizzed from here to California, and I’m in Georgia right now! Aroma is mainly fruity, rather crisp with a hint of malt. It pours a slightly hazy solar yellow with a thick, frothy, rather persistend white head that leaves considerable lacing. Flavor is crisp, more fruity than malty, with a woody overtone, and both bitter and sweet hints that balance each other nicely. Mouthfeel is smooth and just a little fizzy, leaving a fruity and hoppy finish.
