Pours an average frothy head and has a cloudy orange/amber appearance. Fairly weak lacing. Aromas of Belgian yeast, citrus hops, oranges, malts. Flavours are also of yeast, orange peel, coriander, mild spices and hints of cinnamon. Has a mild warming sensation and a drying mouthfeel. Long finish. A really good, cheap Unibroue beer that's quite enjoyable.

Hazy gold body with a thin fluffy crown. While pouring I smelt cat food but that seems to have vanished now, the typical Unibroue aromas, yeast, spice with a citrusy grainy finish. Taste is the same. Crisp clean and a nice carbonated finish. This might be more lemony the other Uni's. I feel lazy and don't want to make up any more flavours. What they do they do well......but i wish there was more variety in there beers.

What a struggle to extract the cork from this bastard! Light and clear gold with a three-fingered white head; little retention here. Floral aroma, maybe some yeast. Flavour was rather subdued, maybe some yeast and whatever. Thin mouthfeel. Like a "light saison" in feel and flavour. A lame waste of six dollars. Unibroue can do better.

Often I am convinced that I have reviewed beers decades ago because I have had them many times and regualarily. Though I havent even been drinking beer for a decade, and this one hasn't been on the market that long, its not true, I just figured I drank enough of it to review it before. Not true.... dirty blonde, a bit darker than some saisons, but then maybe not. Its like the blanche with no wheat! and I like! Oranges obviously and coriander, but also some light peach and warm lemon peels. Perhaps some white pepper but I might just be getting that from trapezemonks review. Yeast unibroue but thank goodness its a bit toned down on this one, which is surprising as it is often a yeasty style. Chopz thinks wits scare the mass market, I would think this does more, as you can get kieths, rickars and hoegarrden white pretty much anywhere, but thats unimportant. Maybe I should ramble less and review more.

Nice pour with a dirty blonde appearance, slight orange tinge to the head. Flavor was slight slight orange with a tiny pepper hit at the end. Mouthfeel was smooth. This is a good blonde with a slight edge.

Was quite surprised to see this new one in a 12-pack and 750ml bottles at the Metro store. Had a few last night with a friend, and found it pretty good (from the bottle). Now, rating time. Pours a hazy golden colour with a big creamy white head, great retention and thick foamy lacing. The big Unibroue nose is the same as pretty much all of their brews. Spicy and yeasty. The taste shows off the grain, with a twist of lemon and the famous yeast. Mild notes of rust, here and there. Not sure why this one was made, as it is pretty close the original Blanche de Chambly. Maybe the witbier scares the mass market ??
