07.26.05 750ml bottle, no date on bottle. Raspberry tinged amber pour with tall off-white head and minimal lace. Aroma is sharp, funk, brett, wood (stem), and quite a bit more cherry than I expected. Palate is lively, very light, alive with effervescence, as brisk as a champagne. Flavor seems as much about the palate as it is about taste as this beer is certainly intended to refresh, and at that it excells. Dry weed field, cherry pit, empty horse barn. It’s fun, but nothing to write home about.

Looks like a glass of cherry cola when it was handed to me. Very sour barnyard thing mixed in with a bushel of cherries. Didnt stand out for me with the other excellent brews outshining this one.

Reddish color, slightly hazy. Medium head. Aroma is cherry. A lighter bodied kriek. Cheery flavor is sour and tart. There is also a touch of “barnyard” in the nose and flavor. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter and tart.

Cloudy red color with smallish head from my sample. Aroma was a funky, earthy cherry. Sour cherry and yeasty flavors. Crisp, clean finish but lacking something.

This kriek pours with a very cloudy dark amber body topped by a thin head with a good amount of lacing. The aroma is tart and fishy with a slight cherry note. The flavor is also tart and fishy with a touch of cherry. Light to medium bodied and dry.
