I tried the Draft Wyld Simcoe Fresh Hop version of this at the Green Dragon in PDX. Light, refreshing floral aroma from the Simcoe and a short soft hop hit from the cascade bittering hops - very clean finish. Yellow, dark golden. Great beer but not a top finisher on my pallet today. Would likely be better on a hot summer day.

An ok pale. Grass, bready malts and hints on tart and citrus. Pretty light but quaffable. Ultimately unexceptional, but about as expected. Light bodied with a lesser finish.

Pours a light orange with a foamy off-white head that leaves some foamy rings of lace on the glass. Smell is of malt, citrus zest, and some fruity peach-like aromas. Taste is much the same with a citrus zest flavor on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel.very sessionable.

Pours hazy orange gold color with a tremendous large cloudy foamy white head that faded extremely slowly with excellent foamy lacing. The aroma is of cereal, sweet malt, light caramel, grains, biscuit, grass, floral hops, citrus hops, lemon zest, herbs and light fruit like apple or grape. The tastes is of floral hops, citrus hops, lemon, herbs, grains, sweet malt, caramel, grains, biscuit, tea lead, very light spices like coriander and pepper. The mouthfeel is light and crisp, with a light body, very mild carbonation and a refreshing clean finish.

Picked this up at the bottle shop recently. Pours a light golden, light amber colour. Nose is fresh, mildly hopped and grass noted. Taste is citrusy, medium bodied but full malty backbone.

Strong aroma is quite hoppy and piney, with a hint of citrus, more like an IPA than a "regular" pale ale. It pours a typical but still appealing clear amber with a decent off-white head that leaves some good lacing. Flavor is quite hoppy with a malty undertone and hints of caramel and sour citrus. Texture is smooth and somewhat fizzy, leaving a nice hoppy tingle. You can just about taste the wilderness.

Got a free bottle at the Brew's Best Beer Fest on my trip to Vegas. USDA organic with a bottled date of 09/30/11. Pours a slightly lighter golden colour with a frothy warm cap that stays a while and creates patchy and fluffy lace. Beautiful fresh aromas of hops (mostly cascade) giving out grapefruit and pine scents. Then, you feel the light 4% alcohol average. Very light mouthfeel and taste. Mild hop is still present, but not much bitterness with a quick wet finish. A overall really nice light beer for those who are looking for this (kicks Coors Light ass).

A beer of the month club entry for July/August 2011. Pours a golden color with a light but pleasant aroma. The flavor is light combination of hoppy citrus with a background of almost tropical punch. A good one if you want some refreshing hops without the heaviness many IPA's

Sampled on 6/25/2011. This American Pale Ale pours a very clear medium orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Bottled on 3/16/11. Small to medium sized thin white foamy head, with nice lacing. The aroma is fruity and sweet, touch of floral hops. A light to medium bodied American Pale Ale. The malts are caramel, fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal and citrusy. A nice balanced APA. Decent carbonation. Perhaps a touch thin tasting, but might be more a fact of the 4% alcohol than anything else. Mouthfeel is a touch thin. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

This was a beer I sampled at the Oregon Garden Brewfest. My first beer from the state of Utah! Unfortunately, that's where the excitement ended. Hazy amber color but a good white head. Rye aroma with a bit of biscuit malt. Light-medium body, easy to drink. Pretty simple flavor, but the aftertaste wasn't quite right to me.
