With a little tip of the hat to our scientific, pioneering neighbors we created the innovative atom smasher limited run artisan beer. A heft, full-bodied lager reminiscent of Marzen beers from days gone by. However, this beer is aged in our oak foudres to add a complexity unmatched by the imported version of Oktoberfest beers today. Just add Ledersosen!

A bold copper colored beer with big sudsy textured, white head rising above. There's good hang time on the head. It serrles into a thin head and persistent, though light cap. Fruit-bubble gum nose. Some grassiness to a friot and bready sweet malt. Medium bodied and richly smooth

Sixer from a great obscure bottle shop I sometimes visit, fresh into the Oktoberfest Season and this beauty really impressed. Thick khaki head on a semi-transparent dark copper body leaving strands of lacing. Fruity caramel followed by mixed berries, grapes, woody vanilla, nuts and a plethora of baked goods. Medium bodied, firm and sweet with a mild tangy quality. Non-traditional, but exceptional nonetheless. Very creative and the wood aging works wonders on a subtle profile throughout this beer.

Cool name, especially since I'm from the "Atomic City." Light haze in a dirty copper pour with a thinning white head, then to a ring with little lacing. Sweet malty aroma with some apple and oak. Very sweet malty taste with again some fruits, oaken vanilla, little hops. Perhaps past its prime. Decent, but not seek-worthy.

Picked up some at Binny's recently and wanted to see if the beer lived up to it's name, although I was not sure how that would come about. A good reddish gold pour with a thin white head, and it's clear. Sweet malt, light fruit, wood, and some perfumy hops permeate the air above the stein. The taste is rather disjointed with the wood flavour clashing with the Marzen fruitiness
