Had this for the first time on Halloween 07'. Found it to be a nice IPA, decent ballance of hop/malt, classic copper color, nice floral/citrus aroma, easy drinking, had a second one shortly after the first. Nice drinking IPA.

Sampled at Princeton brewpub. A clear, dark goldish color with a small white head that persisted. Aroma is a bit floral, citrusy. Flavors are mildly sweet, with floral, citrus and caramel hints, followed by a dry bitterness that is not *too* bitter. Very refreshing and easy to drink, I rather liked this IPA.

Served at the Brewpub in Princeton. Batch 1360. Clear golden color. Very thin head, but loads of lace. Quite a bitter finish, like sucking aspirin.

Princeton, 04.29.04. Pours a dark, honey-copper; medium head is lasting, lots of lacing. As with the amber, I found the aromas to be hiding from me, perhaps due to the little sample glass? Flavors are sweet front, sweet mid, quick bitter, floral, citrus finish. Nice beer, good example of the style.

Triumph Bengal Gold India Pale Ale poured a orange colored body with a small white head that left minor lacing. The taste was citrus, malty, and had a bitter finish. Not bad.

Poured a hazy orange color with a small, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of orange citrus, tangerines, and caramel malts. Taste of citrus fruits, light caramel malts, and a dry bitterness (grapefruit) in the finish.

Its a pretty good ale when you can get it from a fresh keg. The night I had it it was pretty old. Triumph usually makes great beer, this one was old. It was malty and hoppy. Amber in color. Robust in flavor when its fresh.
