Not my favorite brew, but not bad. Poured a dark brown with a nice beige head. A bit too sweet for my tastes, and a bit watered down. Some nice coffee and nut notes, caramel, and a mild hoppy aftertaste. All in all not my thing, but still pretty good.

On tap in Princeton, NJ. Poured a deek dark brown with a finger-thick tan head. Aroma was roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, and oats. Mouthfeel was full-bodied and creamy. Flavor was a rich blend of chocolate, coffee, caramel, malts, and oatmeal. You can really taste the oatmeal, moreso than other oatmeal stouts I've had. A unique brew in my opinion, very good.

On tap at Triumph in Princeton, NJ. Pours a nice gold, almost clear, with a foamy white head. Aroma is grainy with some sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with good carbonation. Flavor is malty, bready and a little sweet with a nice hoppy bitter finish. My first Maibock -- delicious and refreshing.

Poured a nice dark mahogany with an off-white head. Aroma was raisins, sweet malts, yeast, and alcohol. Medium- to full-bodied, slightly fizzy. Flavor was fruits like apples, and raisins again..brown sugar, caramel, some subtle spices. Flavors started to come out on warming, as does the alcohol. Overall an enjoyable brew.

Nothing too out of the ordinary here. A bit hazy orange/yellow. Light-medium body. Citrus aroma and taste, a bit yeasty and a little sweet. Good beer and easy to drink.
