This dark, rich, roasty chocolate porter balances aggressive roasted malt flavors with chocolate-like malty sweetness and a creamy full body. Hop flavor is absent, with just enough bitterness for balance. Brewed to coincide with the Pullman Porter exhibit at Green Bay's National Railroad Museum.

Its been four years since the last review on this and perhaps titletown has got this beer in better shape. Jet black beer, a little thicker than I expect a porter, but still thinner than a stout. Immediately get a chocolate flavor, but that is quickly replaced by the dominant flavor of this one licorice. Also still get the malt, raisins and plums, the latter two also make up the aroma of the beer. Gets better as it warms up.

Pours a dark black colour with a little light brown head. Taste is slightly metallicy, so i was turned off a bit by that. Mouthfeel was a little thin, otherwise deep dark flavors of chcolate and spice. Taste is creamy and rich, Aroma is pleasent, black cherries.

A little too dark for my taste, but made very well. It poured a clean back color with a frothy tan head. It had strong coffee aromas with a creamy chocolate flavor enhanced by roasted malt. Very clean dry finish.
