After months in a conditioning tank, this malty red lager makes its debut for summer. The rich, complex flavor of imported Bavarian malt leads to a clean, smooth finish. Pronounced "my bock", this style beer is a traditional May specialty in Germany.

    May first, maibock. Different. For maibocks for me its malt first, then yeast, then a hint of hops. This one seemed to be a blast of hops then not much else, though a friend I was with tasted the malt first. It makes me wonder if I was served the Busted Nut instead as it tasted much like it. Spicier than a maibock thats for sure.

    It pured a nice copper color with a solid head. It was slightly dry, but enjoyable. It had a slight hop flavor but was really smooth. It had a nice creamy quality to it as well.

    Another winner from Ttown. Pours a dark, copper colour with a full fluffy tan head. nice and creamy with a touch of hops mid palate. fruity in the finish.
