Yum super quick to drink. I find the cherries quite strong on the nose and weak in the drink. British inspired porter for sure. Thin, bit bitter, bit of burnt grain... well balanced, bit of biscuit. Looks like cola, and seems to have a trace smell of warm, stale, cola. Pretty average tasting, but super drinkable and quite good.

650 ml brown bottle, available locally. Dark, basically black color, spongy tan head. Good retention, leaving thin sheets of lace. Smells of toasted malt, some cocoa and coffee. Ever so slight hint of cherries. Roasted malt flavor, slightly bitter cocoa, typical of a porter. The cherry flavor is not there at all, not sure what I was expecting, but this wasn't it. Mouthfeel is smooth and mild, maybe a bit thin. I much prefer Wild Rose Cherry Porter in comparison.

Pouring a REALLY dark copper/amber colour, this beer was topped - barely - with a thin, foamy tan head. The aroma was of dark chocolate and to a lesser extent probably coffee and roasted malts. The taste was likewise, and I did notice some dark cherry at the finish, but not enough to dominate. Mouthfeel was certainly more robust than some other porters.

Poured out a very dark brown brew with a small amount of mid range brown head with some ropy lacing and light retention. The aroma was heavy on the dark chocolate, sweet and dry, background cherries, wonderfully blended mild cherries. The smell is no wear near to overpowering. The taste is more mild which is ok cause I don't want a hop smash.Chocolate is dark and dry with underlying sourness from cherries. Smooth, on occasion taninc, and mouthwatering, some bitterness that fades. Great brew. Tin Whistle does not get the respect it deserves.

Dark brown with a thick noisy crown retention seems ok, lacing is spotty at best. Aroma is earth some cherry and I’ll say it has more of a coffee smell then chocolate but this is ok smelling. Flavour tasty and smooth chocolate is really coming through the cherry is not so noticeable. Lots of earth in the flavour and think as the brew warmed I noticed cherry in the finish. I will say this isn’t a great porter its only average at best but it very drinkable and enjoyable.
