A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish. With over 100 worldwide awards, this American style IPA has a complexity of flavours created by a six-dimensional hop experience. Jaipur's hoppiness builds in the mouth and bursts with powerful citrus fruit flavours, culminating in a remarkably smooth finish and making it a deliciously drinkable IPA. Hops - Chinook, Centennial, Ahtanum, Simcoe, Columbus & Cascade Malt - Maris Otter

Pours a very thick creamy head with dirty patchy lacing and has semi cloudy golden appearance. Aromas of malts and floral hops. Flavours are bitter citrus hops, oranges and lemon. Nice bitterness. Smooth drying mouthfeel with a slight prickly tingling sensation. Really easy drinking ipa.

Missed the best before date. Still quite tasty. Lemon and floral aroma. Flavour is similar to the aroma, accompanied with a citrus grassy flavour balanced with sweet malts. Very pale looking with a huge foamy white head. Leaves lots of lacing. Smooth medium body with loads of floaties

Small taster at Old No. 7. Clear light yellow with bubbly white foam head. Small aroma, taste is slightly bitter, more pilsener like. Short aftertaste, expected more. (Barnsley 201208)

Purchased at the LCBO with a best before date of 24.07.12. Pours a clean golden colour at first, but gets hazy near the end, with a bunch of tiny flakes floating all around. An off-white cap tops the brew for a long, long time and foamy lacing forms around. Mild hoppy nose with grapefruit notes and very light grain. The grain comes out a bit more in taste, over the hop. Wet mouthfeel with just a little dryness in the finish. Quite a mild IPA that makes it easy-drinking (compared to hop bombs) but is definitely better than average.

    500ml bottle
    5.9% ABV
    Best Before: July 24, 2012
I tried this beer on April 9, 2012 after purchasing from the Queen's Quay LCBO Outlet in Toronto, Ontario, Canada - Part of the LCBO Spring 2012 Release. The beer poured a hazy light gold colour with a thin white ring that lasted. Aroma was primarily grainy malt, with a little sweetness. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with mild carbonation. Flavour had a mild citrusy hoppy taste, some grapefruit, with some sweet malty balance. Very enjoyable.

500 ml capped bottle. Poured a hazy golden-orange coloured IPA with a one finger slightly beige foamy head that had a mid-sized retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Great lacing. The aroma is intense aromatic resinous hops, juicy fruits, pineapples, grapefruits, citrus, lychees . The flavour is intensely resinous and fruity hops, grapefruits, pineapples, lychees, citrus and surprising some honey notes. The mouthfeel is crispy and sparkling. This medium bodied IPA has in addition to a lingering hoppy bitter finish some sweety touches on the finale. A high enjoyable Bristish IPA.

From Central City. Poured a body of light gold under a modest white head. Sadly, my sinuses have been jammed solid for more than a week but I may've sensed some hop aroma but who knows for sure. Otherwise, the taste was pleasant enough for a UK IPA, with some bitterness and a hint of a sweetness at the finish, Mouthfeel was quite acceptable. A nice enough beer byt I've spoiled by West Coast IPA's, I think.

carmel hops? huh? wouldn't that be the malt? british style far more malt prevelant than i prefer. i didn't get much from the hops besides bitterness...the floral, citrus, tropical aspect of many american ipas was not present here. biscuit malt, some sweetish carmel, and a smooth body. pretty good within the british ipa style, but it's just not for me.

Cask at the GBBF 2008. Golden colour, low head. Lovely hoppy aroma with strong notes of tropical fruits. The flavour is a hoppy explosion of citrus and tropical fruits, on a distinctly sweet base. Long hoppy aftertaste. Very good.

Cask@GBBF2007. Yellowish colour, not much head. Aroma is caramel hops, grassy hops and also some fruityness. Flavour is quite the same, with lots of grapefruits and grass in the finish and aftertaste.
