A very dark brown-mahogany colored beer with a light tan fiamy head rising robustly above. Settles into a thick ringlet. Faint nose. Stronger in taste of roastiness and chocolate. Body is light. Overall a good drink.

Aroma is not too strong but smoky with an undertone of molasses and a bit of hops and fruit. It pours a dark, nearly opaque chocolate brown with a decent light tan head. Flavor is mainly of mocha, average quality coffee and slightly sweet chocolate, with fruity and hoppy hints. Texture is edgy and fizzy, leaving a smoky and slightly sweet finish.

A very dark brown - could pass for balck in low light - brew with the expected roasted malt and caramel aroma. Thinner than expected in the mouth, but the flavor compensates. Dry finish.

Had this on cask at the Atlanta Cask Ale Fest. Pours a dark, dark brown. The aroma has a distinct roastiness to it. I’d like it a little beefed up in the body, though.
