You can pick your friends, but you can't pick your family. You can pick where you live, but you can't pick your neighbors. That is, until now, When you pick up a glass filled with frothy, dark-colored Bitter Neighbor Black IPA, it won't leave a bad taste in your mouth. In fact, it's quite good. (Sorry. We can't help you with the family part.) COLOR:Black ALCOHOL CONTENT:6.5%abv MALTS:Pale, Caramel, Munich, Roasted, Black DRY HOPS:German and US (Magnum, Hersbrucker, Amarillo, Cascade) FOOD PAIRINGS:Suggested food pairings would include spicy foods and curries. Smoked meats and blue cheeses. Spiced and sweeter desserts are beautiful adjuncts for this beer.

Decent bitter hop and roast malt combination. Unfortunately not much of a nose on it though. Murky brown pour with light fizzy head, mouthfeel is above average so between that and the flavor this wasn't too bad.

Pours a chocolate black with a nice white head. Aroma is hoppy with a little roast. Taste is hoppy with hints of roast, coffee, and chocolate. Taste stays for a bit after you swallow. Overall not half bad, will drink again.
