Just like those classic video games we all grew up with, 8-Bit Pale Ale is spectacularly simple at first glance yet remarkably fun and complex when you get into it. Our Hop Rocket infuses the character of Austrailian grown Galaxy Hops into an American Pale Ale, giving a unique tropical, almost melon aroma in a classic American style. IBU: 40 Malts: 2 Row, Victory, Vienna & Munich Hops: Magnum, Centennial, Cascade & Galaxy

Clear light amber, white foam head. Hoppy aroma, some fruit notes. Nice bitter taste, good taste. Nice lasting bitter aftertaste. Glad I purchased. (New Orleans 201505)

Sampled at the 2013 Oklahoma Craft Beer Festival. Pours dark gold with perfect clarity and creamy, lasting head. The aroma is bright with notes of tropical fruit and flowers. Great bitterness in the flavor, which comes off mainly citrusy, a little one-noted. Thin bodied but not watery thanks to sufficient grain and strong carbonation.

I admit, I picked this up because of the Pac Man can. Not a bad choice though--this is a decent pale ale. This is my first experience with Galaxy hops; plenty of melon and citrus in the aroma and taste. Not much in the way of malt backbone yields a nice, bitter finish.

I believe this tasty brew was given to me by Heemer on my out west a couple months ago. Pours from the can into my glass a dark golden colour with a medium sized off white head. Aroma is noticeably hopped, herbal and floral. Taste is soft and bitter, slightly spiced and grassy.

This is some nasty stuff. If you are drawn in by the 80's PAC MAN pic on the can, JUST STEP AWAY. You will thank me. I tried this swill at a local tasting. Thank god I got it for free because I would never buy it. Taste like sweet corn mash and cat piss. A big miss by an otherwise pretty good brewer.

Pours a dark golden color. Smell is dominated by hops. Taste is hoppy, a bit bitter for a pale ale but good. Overall a little unbalanced but enjoyable beer.
