Skipper Clement´s Morningbeer is an American Pale Ale with generous amounts of hops. Dry and refreshing with notes of grape, melon, pine needles and citrus. The former pirate Skipper Clement was the leading figure in the danish farmers' rebellion of 1534. Within short time they devastated numerous aristocratic estates, but were at last defeated by the king's troops, and the Skipper was decapitated shortly after. This beer is dedicated to men and women who take action. Cheers! Top fermented. 4,7 % vol.

    Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 2 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 6

500 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. Unfiltered APA. ABV is 4.7%. Deep golden colour, moderate white head. Moderate carbonation. The aroma has notes of fruity American hops, but unfortunately also strong and disgusting notes of vomit. The flavour has moderate but decent hops throughout, but lacks a bit of malty backbone. Bitter aftertaste. What a pity about the aroma! A bad bottle? If that was the case, I’d think the flavour would be flawed too?
