This beer comes courtesy of Chris Quiroga at the welcome visitors gathering at Obriens. It would have been awesome to have tried this fresh, but simply to even have the opportunity to try this was awesome in its own right. This rare beer pours a golden color with a soapy white head which left a fairly long lasting layer of lacing. The aroma is hoppy but surprisingly sweet and caramel like. The flavor is caramelly and sweet with some hop residue here, but you can tell that this is well past its prime. Some orangey peel in the finish... you can tell this was awesome upon release...but even now its still shows some verve of its greatness.

thanks to cquiroga for sharing. Understandably, this IPA is past its prime, but it’s still nice. It tasted like a very mellow IPA. I’m sure that at it’s release, ’mellow’ wouldn’t be a word used to have described it.

It pours with an orange-gold body topped by a medium thick head with a good amount of lacing. The aroma and flavor are slightly sweet with notes of apricot and an over ripe fruit note, as well as, a touch of pine. Medium bodied, smooth and dry.

Poured cloudy orange with a tan head. The aroma still had a slight floral notes. Taste still had some hop bite but of course no where near what it was. Slightly oxidized with a slight spiciness and a sweet bread taste. Still mildly bitter but more malt. Thanks Chris for breaking this out.

GABF weekend... Cloudy golden color with a medium sized white head and nice lacing on the glass. Fruity, citrus, lots of malts, but still some hops, very musty aroma. Taste was oxidized and certainly past its prime at this point. Lots of tropical fruits (peaches), sweet woodiness, and also just a touch of bitterness.
