Initial pour is frothy dark tan. Aroma Hoppy aroma. Initial flavor is of hops, which quickly morphs into toffee and brown sugars and then once again into bitterness from roasted malts. Reminds me sort of like dried sugar snap peas. Quick warming in the back of the throat. Bitter aftertaste. Another good example of why black IPAs are going to be the next generation of IPAs coming out.
