500 ml capped bottle bought at the brewery. Poured in the original Staffelberger Bavarian Seidel an unfiltered hazy amber-orange coloured Helles with a one finger beige foamy head that had a long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Active carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is sweet grainy malts, yeast, some hay and moderate hoppy. The flavour is grainy malts and a moderate hoppy bitterness. The mouthfeel is slight crispy and a bit oily. This light to medium bodied Helles has a dry malty finish. An easy drinkable Helles from Franconia.
