Ruby redness in color. A big, cherry tinted, frothy textured head rises above. There's some hang time on the head. A moderate ringlet and persistent cap are left. This is all about raspberries in nose and on the tongue. Effervescent and bubbly.

It pours a dark and fairly thick red with a thin white head and a ring of lacing. An aroma of berries and fruits: raspberry, blackberry, blueberries, cherries, bread and yeast, and light spices. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of bready malts, fruit juice/punch, raspberries, cherries, blackberries, citrus, tart and spiciness. Delicious!

Drank this straight from the bottle. It had a pleasing sweetness with moderate levels of acidity, but altogether a nice balance. I liked it... Slightly peppery rasp. taste and a fresh fruit flavor. Did not have a ton of authentic belgian flavor behind it (funk 'n stuff), i think this would be nice to have with a few regular beer folk and they'd love it.

Looks like rosey raspberry juice with a good sized, short lived spattered froth that reduces to a fluffy ring and a silky canopy with a spattered island. Talk about a run-on sentence. Fruity aromatics appeal to my senses. Light to medium nectar weight with good carbontaion. It has a soft almost creamy texture. Flavors of freshly squeezed raspberries and green apples. Throw in a pinch of vanilla cream and kiwi and watch her dance. It’s not concentrated like a New Glarus. It carries itself with a more feminine tone appealing to most anyone with a solid fruit core and a mild tart acidity. Finishing peacefully and balanced. This brew is good.

Poured a deep burgundy color with a thin head that provided very nice lacing. Aroma was of rubber and raspberries, as was the flavor. This was very comparable in my opinion to the NG Raspberry Tart. But, why such a differential between this and that? Perhaps because this claims to be a lambic and not a fruit beer (it was a phony sweetened lambic for sure and way overpriced for that matter). Yes, it didn't taste like beer, but neither did the Raspberry Tart on both of my tastings of it.

The main remark I must make is that there is hardly any beer in this nice drink. Some hops existence in the ingredients doesn't make it be beer. Due to the written above I would rate this aperitif quite high, but I was going to review beer...
