Our Pale is an Americanized version of a worldwide favorite. A light amber to copper colored beer, the Vienna malt used in our recipe balances quite nicely with the higher hopping levels. Using two American developed hops, Galena and Cascade, this beer is very distinctive in both flavor and aroma. Described as pleasant, floral, and somewhat spicy with a definite citrus note, it's one of our brewers favorites. Goes great with more aggressive foods.

Served ice cold and drunk right away this was a great pale ale. It was my second favorite after the double Maibock. Then why, you might ask, would I rate it lower overall. The reason was simple. Once it started to warm up it became kinda tasteless and boring. It had a nice hoppy bite the first, second and third sip. But after a little bit, nothing. It was like it became hopless.

Nice lacing from the thin white head above the dark gold body. The nose is firm, floral hops. The flavor of this aggressively-hopped beer is not one-dimensional, however; there is a decent malt background. The finish is very dry, but pleasant and refreshing. This is a very good APA.
