A superb example of an American Pale Ale. The Cascade hop flavor just explodes in your mouth. Combined with the clean malt character and smooth finish, you are left utterly wanting another when your glass is empty.

I came home from work to the sight of about five billion small feathers scattered throughout the house. Seems the dog had quite a busy day destroying a feather-filled queen sized mattress pad. Luckily for him I decided to drink a beer instead of killing him, and he was lucky again that it turned out to be a very good beer. The beer club newsletter says it's only 33 IBU, so not over-the-top with hops, but it's a very well-balanced, tasty brew, with a great aroma.

Medium orange gold color. Medium head. Aroma is malts, floral and grapefruit. A medium bodied pale ale. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are grapefruity. Well balanced. Really fruity for a pale ale, but its balanced by some fairly aggressive grapefruity hops. All in all, a nice taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Aftertaste is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Citrusy aroma. Pours yellow in color. Hoppy flavor. Full bodied beer. Pretty good.

Draught Only: A nice deep amber color, generous head and sheets of lace. Large malt nose, the start sweet, the middle medium to full, the carbonation moderate, and the finish has that nice Cascade hop mild bite. Not a SNPA, but quite drinkable, clean and fresh.
