Sampled on 10/12/2012 at GABF. This pilsner pours a light yellow gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is cereal, fruity and sweet, slightly spicy. A medium bodied pilsner. The malts are fruity and sweet, cereal and grainy. The hops are floral and spicy. Nice carbonation. Crisp and clean. Light and refreshing. Decent Pilsner. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

On draft at Citizen’s Bank Park while watching the Phils / Pirates game w/ pop and bro-in-law - our Father’s Day present. A darned impressive and in-your-face pilsner, probably the most so that I know of, glad to have introduce my comarades to it over the Flying Fish Extra Pale, lol. The pour was golden straw colored, full carbonation. Aroma was firm strong, abrasive pilsy malts and grass hop overload. The flavor didn’t hide any of these elements, spicing hop elements also on display. Firm dry bitter finish, but supported by a substantial maltiness that kept this from qualifying for a dry and clean finish. It was both in many ways, but it was big malty too. If I loved pilsners, the overall on this woulda been maxed out. Excellent depth on both hops and malts, well within the style too. Go, Phils!

Can at tasting at Chris Fischer’s (from Liars Club) house. Pours with a yellow body topped by a thin head with some lacing left behind. It’s grassy and bitter with a slight underlying malty sweetness. Light bodied and smooth with a touch of dryness.

Can courtesy of Hogtownharry: Poured a hazy deep yellow color pils with a nice white foamy head with average retention. Aroma of dry malt with some crisp german hops. Taste is also dominated by some dry malt and a dry crisp hoppy finish. Body is above average with some low filtration and lees at the bottom. While this is a good pils I thought it miss some of the floral aspect that I usually like in the style.

Rather a disappointment IMO. I was expecting a fresh pils but got some that reminded me of an old piece of bread. Stale and bland. Very light yellow in color, aroma was a little bready but not in a good way. I didn't get any hops at all in the flavor, slightly sweet though. I got more of that yeastyness that I didn't enjoy. My first Sly Fox, so I am looking forward to another.

Poured light golden with a thick white head. Good retention and nice sparkle. Does not look as nice as the Victory Prima. Smell had citrus and sweet malts. Same with the taste. Good thick mouthfeel for a Pilsner. This is good, one of the better Pilsners I've tasted.

One of the best pilsners I've had. Poured cloudy straw golden color with moderate white poofy head. Citrusy full bodied taste with a nice and creamy mouthfeel. I don't go out of my way for Pilsners, but I'd have this again for sure.

Royal Stumble. Excellent pilsener. Nice, light dough aroma and medium bodied taste. Nice head retention and flavor.

Poured a bright golden color with a small white head and left light lacing on the glass. Toasted bready, and a dry malt aroma. Very doughy taste, Very light citrus (lime), light toasted malt and low hop bitterness.
