Corps riche et crémeux. Intense tout en étant facile à boire. L’harmonie de arômes de malt de whisky écossais alliés au fumé de bois assurent un équilibre jouissif

Pours a medium brown, not much in the way of head or lacing. Smokey aroma, smokey mouthfeel, smokey flavor - nothing overwheming, but it's smoke backed with sweet.

Pours a clean dark brown colour that shows red highlights with active carbonation. Mocha cap that is small, but has medium retention with decent lacing. Big nose of smoke, with some roasted malt, dark fruits (plum, raisins) and burnt wood. Nice creamy mouthfeel that is medium to light-bodied. The smoke is not as apparent in the taste (but still present) with notes of chocolate malt, roasted malt and hints of molasses. Alcohol is very well-hidden and finish is pretty dry. Recommended to those who are not fans of dark fruits in the taste of porters, but those who like a little smoke (not as much as rauchbiers) in their brews.

Bottle: Poured a clear brown color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and not much lacing. Aroma of smoked is quite dominant with some notes of roasted malt also noticeable. Taste is dominated by a nice mix of smoked malt with a little touch of roasted malt. Body is bit thin and beer would be better with a fuller body with good carbonation. Very well done with loads of smoked malt but I think this beer would be even better with more roasted malt and a fuller creamier body.
