The deep red color gives you a hint of this ale's full flavor. Its rich maltiness comes from Crystal and Vienna malts. Golding and Cascade hops give it a subtle, bitter finish. Caution: at 8% alcohol, this beer's got horsepower!

Comes out of the tap a clear mahogany with a pale tan head. Malty aroma has hints of cloves and hops. Strong malty flavor has notes of cloves and horehound and a subtle hoppy undertone plus something of an alcohol nip. Thin but smooth body has light fizz.

probably their most popular beer A) because it's a malt bomb, so macro beer drinkers that are afraid of hops will love it, and B) it's 8 freakin percent, so frat boys looking to get drunk quicker like it. That being said, even though I love my hops, this is a pretty stinkin good beer. Unbalanced, yes, but the flavor, mouthfeel, and aroma or all carmely, malty good! the best of their regular rotation.

I am no great ale fan, and red ales are way up on my missit list. Along comes Red Roadster, and I got to say this is by far the best red ale I have had the pleasure to drink. Fullbody, balanced flavor and 8%. Lives up to the bill of high horsepower brew. If this was in bottles, it would be always in my reefer. When in Reno, Silver Peak is a must.

A good malty ale with a distinctly sweet and nutty flavor and rich, dark brown color. Not quite as well balanced as I would have liked in an 8% and was slightly over carbonated.
