Chapter Five, is our West Coast Ale, which is inspired by the craft brewers of the American West Coast. We use two types of malted barley in our West Coast Ale to produce this beer and a blend of both cascade and northern brewer hops. The cascade hops provide the bitterness, the northern brewer hops provide the aroma. West Coast Ale is golden-brown with a spicy aroma and provides the thirst quenching character of a lager with the fruitiness of an ale, the best of both worlds? With 5% ABV and around 30 units of bitterness this is a well balanced, refreshing ale.

Bottled. Slight hazy amber colour, small off-white creamy head. Aroma is mild spruce, some fruity and floral hops along with mild maltyness. Flavour is fruity and floral hoppyness along with some mild breadyness and grass. Mild spicy and yeasty notes as well.
