Aroma is hoppy and wheaty, with a subtle citrus undertone. Not too bad for a macrobrew creation pretending to be a craft beer. Pours a clear, bubbly, dark amber with a fairly thick pale tan head. Flavor is not as hoppy or wheaty as the aroma promised, but the orange and coriander definitely come out. Texture has about average firmness, not a whole lot of fizz. Overall, just OK, but still palatable.

pours a transparent amber with a slight haze with medium sized khaki head which quickly disapates and leaves just a few carbonation bubbles stuck to the side of the glass. The aroma is pleasing and consists of wheat and citrus. The taste is wheat, oranges, hop spice, slight notes of pine, dry hoppy finish. The mouthfeel is slick light/medium body, conspicuous carbonation. I found this mixture to be intriging and was glad I tried it as it was an interesting combination that I liked. Can't believe this is an A.B. product!

My brother-in-law likes Shock Top, so got to sample this courtesy of him. It was good enough to want to try again, but I forgot to review. Haven't had a chance to buy for myself yet, but sure I'll get to it either this spring or summer season. Actually worked for me, as I am sorta getting into these wheat-IPAs vs. the standard wheats... which I don't care for too much. Balance was decent and definitely drinkable....especially for the price. This could be my favorite of the Shock Top family.

This was ok for a wheat beer, but the India pale ale was not really there.Could of been at the bottom of the IBU chart for IPA.Picked it out myself in a make a six pack party store. Not going to buy this again.Nothing wrong with this beer, more expectations were had.

This is not an IPA. Nothing hoppy. Wheat dominates, in a semi cloudy orange colored beer. Moderate foamy white head that rises briefly above. Dettles into a thin ringlet. Light-watered bodied.

single from HeB .. Pours a basic amber with a smudge of ruby .. low foam .. no lacing .. . some old wheat and a raspberry like sweetness .. . how can something with cascades be so bad .. . horrid .. . . Richard Simmons was an astronaut!

A crazy kinda orange and raspberry color. Aroma contains lemons, raspberry, orange. Flavor is sweet with loads of chick beer and malterative rlavor. Kool aid almost. Overall not an IPA but a decent wine cooler.

easily my least favorite of the 4 shock tops i've had. muddled aroma and flavors are all weak, and clash with, rather than compliment each other. weak hops, citrus, with a think wheat feel and little spice. everythings just too muddled. a weak mess.

This is supposed to be a wheat ipa but I ask, how is it an ipa. Maybe there's a scant more hops than a regular wheat beer, but not much, and not much of the orange peel or coriander either. Meh

I had low expectations prior to opening this but couldn't pass up a new IPA at the store. However, I am pleasantly surprised. Mild aroma and taste of citrusy hops, some lemon-like sourness/bitterness but smoothed over by the wheat. Mild but tasty.
