Pours hazy solar yellow with a thick but effervescent eggshell head. Aroma has lemon and wheat notes, nothing else. Still, offers refreshment. Flavor is mostly lemon, with a wan wheat underpinning. Didn’t get any spices. Texture has average body and almost no fizz. Hell, at least it’s a new rating.

Pours an average size fomay head and has a hazy yellow golden appearance. Very weak lacing. Aromas of yeast, lemons and citrus hops. Flavours are fairly sweet, lemony notes for sure with hints of citrus and herbal hops. Somewhat tarty and very faint sourness. Wet mouthfeel. Also sort of an acidic taste to it in the finish. It's ok but just like their Belgian white, not my favourite.

Pours out pale cloudy yellow. The aroma is of light lemon and wheat. The mouthfeel very refreshing although it's a little for my liking but it's okay. The taste is of mild lemon and wheat.

Been looking for this one for a while (as it has been out a long time), every time I go to the States and finally found it in a mixed pack, right here at home. Pours a cloudy yellow colour with a white head, average stay and minimal lace. Lemonade smell and what do you know, in the taste as well. The flavours are sweet, not super strong, but enough to be hard to finish one bottle. Watery sourness and not much aftertaste. I don't mind the original orange one and raspberry in this pack, but not so much this one.

pours a slightly hazy ale gold color with a small white bubbly head that dissipates immediately like soda. A steady stream of bubbles keeps a white ring of foam around the beer-glass interface for the duration and leaves no lacing. The aroma is definitely some wheat in here along with adjunct grains and lemonade. The taste is sweet all the way through with grainy malt, coriander, lemonade, and adjuncts. Pretty balanced between the wheat beer and the lemonade. The mouth feel is light bodied with medium carbonation, and a sweet and slightly dry finish.

I had been wanting to try either the Shock Top or Leinenkuegel Shandy. I have a buddy who was married to an English girl, thus he introduced me to the real version of Shandy's. Not sure if this is a good representation. He used Sprite and beer, but I asked another lady I know from England and she said it is bubbly Lemonade mixed with beer. Either way, this is pretty lemony and actually works. Not great, but a good change of pace beverage for a hot spring or summer day. Reminds me of Samuel Adams Coastal Wheat.....with more lemon of course. My brother in-law in into Shock Top and usually buys these before me, so I get to sample first before deciding...but this is something that I could possibly get on sale for $12 for 12....or something to mix in if hosting a party.

Non-offensive, though it was obviously mass produced. With it's prominent lemonade aroma and flavor, it tasted more like a hard lemonade or wine cooler than a beer. any wit characteristics are long gone. that said, it's got it's place as a summer grilling beer. not good, but not bad. :)

Sampled on 4/11/2012. This fruit beer/shandy pours a slightly hazy yellow gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head, with a quickly disappearing head. The aroma is slightly grassy and sweet with some lemon flavor. A light bodied fruit beer/shandy. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal. Not sure just what I was expecting with this one. I had full expectations of it being like those horrid German raddlers that I have sampled before. Its more like a slightly alcoholic mild lemonade, so its better than the ones I have had in the past. That said its still very unbeer like, the lemon flavor is a little artificial tasting and its malts and hops are really toned down. It is un-offensive but there is really nothing here strong enough tasting to offend. Good carbonation. Would make a decent summer drink, but I don’t think I can call it a beer. Mouthfeel is thin. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
