Golden color with a white head. Aroma is very floral with some citrus and grassy notes. The flavor is somewhat malty with some citrus and cereal going on. Overall a great summer beer.

Been buying + sampling alot of Schlafly during my KC trip, sad i had to end with this one .. . Pours a plain gold, light foam .. . some grain, some dried grass.. . light crispness but nothing really on offer to wow the craft drinker .. . Please do not offer my god a peanut.

Pours a clear, wan yellow with a thick and not persistent white head. However, the unimpressive appearance is this beer's weakest point. Aroma is fairly strong, malty and a little fruity, typical but still acceptable. Flavor is rather well-rounded, better than most lagers I have tried, malty with a firm undertone of apple and pear. Texture is smooth, a little thick, just a bit fizzy. All in all, fair to middlin' and worth at least a try.

Pours a bright gold with a nice white head. Nice lacing throughout as well. Slightly bitter taste to this toasty malted Helles style. First time I have had this style of beer but I enjoyed it very much.

Sampled on draft at the Tap Room, STL. The best helles I've yet to drink. Pours brilliant gold with great head and lace. A wonderful saaz aroma! Flavor is balanced, if not faintly bitter, with an almost pilsner-like noble hop addition. The malt profile is uniform, but quite sophisitcated (decoction mashing?). Medium-bodied and moderately carbonated. A wonderful beer from one of my less favorite styles.

Pours deep gold with perfect clarity and a creamy white head. The aroma is grainy with just a little floral hopping. Flavor is malty and leaning toward the sweet side, yet containing no trace of fruit. Light-bodied, but not watery like some, well carbonated. One of my least favorite styles, but still a good showing by Schlafly.

An above average, yet unadventerous Helles from Schlafly. Some more variety in the grain bill would have done this beer quite a favor, yet it is still very very drinkable. Watery yet smooth and not gritty, some hop balance, but a dry finish.

Yellow color, light bodied mild malt aroma, not much flavor, below average for the style
